Specification Sales:
Here is our specification sales team, the people who are out there every day calling on architects, engineers, lighting designers and anyone else who values their assistance laying out the lighting for a project of any size. Of course, they are also available by phone to answer any of the little questions that you may have in the course of your day about fixture choices, lamps and ballasts and recommended practices. We can guarantee that they will respond promptly to any voice mail message you leave at our office or on the cell phones which are their inseparable companions. You will have an answer by the end of the day or at least an “I’m working on it” response.

Controls and Dimming Systems:
A one-man sub-division of the specification team, Paul Charette provides answers related to dimmers, low-voltage relay controls, daylight harvesting, and theatrical/display/entertainment lighting products. With a masters degree in stage lighting design and 15 years working in theatrical and live event production and sales, Paul has the experience to take care of any projects or questions you have in these areas. Paul will make sure that your control system quote and bill of materials reflects not just the letter of the specification but the “functional intent” behind it as well. In addition to dealing with the specification and bidding phases of projects, Paul provides on-site answers to contractor questions and end-user training sessions. Many of our architect and engineer clients have benefitted from Paul’s informative in-house presentations on principles of stage lighting design and system layout. Paul also supervises a network of independent Dealers who design and install the LiteTouch residential lighting control system for fine homes.

Commercial Sales:
If you are a distributor or contractor in our territory you have probably met our commercial sales team. They are on the road regularly visiting contractor offices, jobsite trailers and distributor sales counters helping put bids together, providing highly competitive pricing, answering questions about existing orders and keeping counter sales people up to date on new products. Mike, Ray, Peter and Joellen know the questions to ask to be sure you get a quote for the right products at the best price. They get frequent product updates and factory training to stay fully informed about all our manufacturers’ products.

Project Management: Once a job has reached the point of ordering the products, the real fun starts. It takes a person with a wide range of specialized skills to be sure all your orders are entered acurately, submittal cuts are sent on schedule, products get shipped on time and as specified and any changes are taken care of promptly. Our inside team is the best in the business - they are in the office all day, every day answering your calls and processing your jobs, supporting the outside sales team, and staying in almost constant contact with our manufacturers to be sure they can get you the information and products you need when you need them. They do all they can to take care of your “hot rush” “need it yesterday” requests but please, try to give them as much lead time as you can!

Lighting Layouts:
In addition to serving as a project manager, Greg Loda is kept busy as our computer layouts specialist. Greg uses the AGI32 program, AutoCAD and other software tools to provide photometric analysis, fixture layouts and color renderings. Distributor Sales:
Somebody has to take care of keeping the shelves full at all of the many electrical distributors offices and warehouses in our territory and these are the people. It is important to make sure that the products are there in sufficent quantity when needed and that the products are the best ones for the job. Because Lighting Affiliates only represents the highest quality manufacturers in the business, it is easy to be sure that the fixtures on the shelves will do the job right. Our distribution team also makes sure that the pricing is as low as it can be and the tremendous volume of fixtures we supply to our territory helps ensure that. The Distribution team also takes care of processing your discretionary orders.

Office Management:
There has to be someone who keeps track of the overall operation of the office and all the myriad personnel and financial tasks and that is Janet Bauer. Janet oversees all administrative functions, invoicing, payables and receivables, payroll, bookkeeping and human resources. That sounds like a lot but even that list doesn’t fully describe all the things Janet does to keep Lighting Affiliates running as the tight ship that it is. You can be sure that anything she does for you will be on-time, accurate and absolutely fair.
